Stories from Home
Hello, I’m Lwanga Chibamba.
I love music, spending time by the beach, good food, and finding joy in the simple moments that make life meaningful.
I am an occupational therapist and a Christian, passionate about people, purpose, and the things that bring meaning to everyday life.
After living and working in Poole, England, I returned home to Zambia to continue my OT journey and explore what occupational therapy looks like in a different context.
Stories from Home is a space where I share my journey of faith, personal growth, and my experiences of building occupational therapy services in Zambia. Through stories, reflections, and everyday moments, I explore the connections between occupation, culture, purpose, and what helps people live meaningful lives.
Whether you are an occupational therapist, a healthcare professional, someone curious about life in Zambia, or simply someone who enjoys a good story, welcome. This blog is a reflection of my journey, the lessons I am learning along the way, and the experiences that continue to shape my understanding of occupational therapy, service, and purpose.
